NBA side the Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry gifted undefeated UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov with a signed jersey when they met on Friday night in Toronto.

The former UFC lightweight champion was seated courtside at Scotiabank Arena as Curry and the Golden State Warriors secured a 120-105 victory over the Raptors. Throughout the game, The Eagle was captivated by Curry's performance.

“It's different experience to watch live one of the best NBA player in the world,' Nurmagomedov captioned a photo he took of Curry on X. 'Thanks Toronto Raptors for invitation.”

After the game, the two met courtside and exchanged a brief conversation following an initial handshake. Curry then presented Nurmagomedov with his signed, game-worn jersey before they posed for a photograph.

“To Khabib, all love champ,” Curry wrote and signed the top.

Nurmagomedov posted pictures and a video of their meeting on his social media, writing, “With legendary @stephencurry in Toronto.”

Nurmagomedov watched Curry lead the Warriors with 25 points, sinking seven three-pointers. Additionally, Curry contributed six rebounds and six assists in the triumph.

Despite a challenging start to the season, Golden State has recently found form, winning 11 of their last 13 games.

As they continue their East Coast road trip to Boston on Sunday, the Warriors aim to extend their winning streak to four games. Presently, they hold the ninth position in the Western Conference with a 32-17 record.

Nurmagomedov relinquished his UFC lightweight title upon retiring in 2020 with an impeccable 29-0 record. The latter part of his career featured successive victories over top contenders Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, and Justin Gaethje.

Since retiring, he has assumed the role of coach to current lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and has been involved in running his MMA promotion, Eagle FC.
